Each Sunday there is a variety of different styles of service held in the Parish, giving everyone the opportunity to praise God, hear his word and bring before him the needs of the world. There are also some mid week services.

St Mary and St Peter’s, Tidenham


This historic church hosts a traditional morning Eucharist, following Common Worship and using Hymns Ancient and Modern New Standard version, accompanied by the organ. On the second and fourth Sundays of the month the Eucharist is sung and worship is lead by a small robed choir. Coffee is served after the service on the second Sunday of the month.

St Luke’s, Tutshill      


Serving the largest population centre, St Luke’s hosts the main morning service, during which there is Junior church for the younger members of the congregation. There is a rich variety of music styles using songs and hymns from MIssion Praise and our own locally produced song book which incorporates more modern worship songs. Song words and visual aids are sometimes projected onto a screen. A crèche is provided and coffee is served after the service each week.

St Michael & All Angels, The Chase


This small country church follows the rich tradition of Evensong from the Book of Common Prayer. Psalms and Canticles are sung and Hymns, from the Ancient and Modern New Standard version, are accompanied on the organ. On the 3rd Sunday of the month there is a celebration of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer.

Mid week services, 

Morning prayer is said at St Mary's, Tidenham at 9.30am on Monday each week to which all are welcome. There is a monthly Wednesday morning communion at St Luke’s church at 10.15am on the first Wednesday of the month. Holy Communion is also taken to the housebound and elderly, by arrangement with the Vicar. 

Care Homes

On the second Wednesday of the month the Vicar and/or Reader takes a brief communion service in each of the Care Homes of the Parish: Sedbury Park and Castleford House. A team from our church also conducts a short service at both care homes most months.
