Youth & Children parachute

Jesus said, 'Suffer the little children to come unto me'. Here in Tidenham the children and young people play an important part in our parish life. For the past eleven years the PCC have employed a part time worker to minister to the children and young people. More recently the PCC employ a Children and Families worker as well as providing an informal internship for a student to work with the young people.

Our Sunday morning children’s activities come under the umbrella term of Splash. Children come in to the start of the normal Sunday service at St Luke’s and leave after the first song. They go over to Tutshill School where they have fun activities in the hall.

Soul Fusion

This is a Churches Together Youth Worship event for ages 14-19 who meet on alternate Sundays at Sedbury Evangelical Church at 6-8pm. The evening comprises games, worship, teaching & discussion, and time for chat and hot chocolate. The youth are actively involved in planning themes, playing in the band, leading games etc to encourage them to exercise their gifts and talents in serving the wider church. They also have special social events and outings each term. For more information see Churches Together

Holiday Club

During the summer holidays we hold a special club at Sedbury Village Hall for primary aged children. Using a mixture of games, crafts, small group discussion and interactive presentation the children explore a Bible theme aided by a great team of volunteers of all generations, including some helpers from Sedbury Evangelical Church. The first of these was held in 2011 and proved so popular we committed to making it an annual event.
